Description
A four-stroke engine that delivers 3.5 horsepower – the perfect companion for a small canoe, dinghy or sailboat.
The MFS3.5 is one of the portable bestsellers, now upgraded with a newly designed cover based on Tohatsu's design philosophy for marine products. The outboard is equipped with ergonomically designed carrying handles both front and rear.
This is Tohatsu's second smallest engine on the Swedish market, but it is still inspired by the technology Tohatsu has developed for its larger engines.
Now you can store the engine in three different positions without risking oil spillage. The patented, compact engine design also makes it easier to transport
360-degree steering
The MFS3.5 can be easily rotated in all directions, 360 degrees. For smaller boats, it is perfect to have this option. On the side of the engine there is a small window where you can easily see the oil level – without having to lift the cover.
A specially designed four-point mounting system is developed to effectively absorb vibrations at all speeds. The lightweight and compact engine is not only a joy to drive, it also has extremely low emissions
Tohatsu is the oldest boat engine manufacturer in Japan
Tohatsu has been manufacturing outboard motors of superb quality since 1956. They were initially built for Japanese professional fishermen who wanted solid, strong and reliable machines that could withstand extreme weather and working conditions.
The engines quickly gained a reputation for being extra powerful and reliable, and Tohatsu still holds this strong position in the market today. Tohatsu supplies modern, quiet four-stroke and two-stroke engines with the latest in technology and environmental certification. The most important thing has always been to offer solid and reliable boat engines, which at the same time do not cost much either in operation or in purchase.
